Marc Marquez: Germany MotoGP win "offsets the experiencing"

The Honda biker resisted stress from KTM's Miguel Oliveira in Sunday's 30-lap Sachsenring race to claim his and Honda's first MotoGP success in 581 days since the 2019 Valencia GP.

It follows Marquez was forced to rest out the 2020 period with a terribly broken right equip, which required 3 procedures and has king88bet seriously affected his daily life.

On the bike since his go back to activity at Portuguese GP, Marquez has had a hard time to trip in his normal design as he fights with an absence of power in his right shoulder.

These problems just weren't as apparent at the Sachsenring because of the circuit's anti-clockwise nature, which added to Marquez extending his German GP winning touch to 11 throughout all courses.

Moving forward Marquez is under no impression that points will be easier currently, but confesses his Germany win has acted as "extra inspiration" for both himself and Honda.

"This success offsets the experiencing," Marquez said.

"It is not that it is around here, but after undergoing such a hard time for as long you see that points are coming, that it is possible, it is extra inspiration.

"I must confess that both myself and Honda remained in reserve and we have filled the storage container, it will give us an increase for the next races.

"In Holland we'll be back to reality, but I hope that after that I can have some great races."

Marquez said after certifying that he could not consider success but was positive he could have a solid race and perhaps challenge for the podium.

Having actually collapsed from a commanding lead in the flag-to-flag French GP, and provided his record at the Sachsenring, Marquez confesses he was "scared of shedding a gold opportunity" on Sunday in Germany that he was uncertain when again he'd have it.

"There was stress this weekend break, but I also put stress on myself," he included.

"When you do not have stress sometimes it is easier to fail, today I was scared of shedding a gold opportunity that I have no idea when I'll have it again.

"I missed out on it at Le Mans, and I didn't want to shed it again.

"It had not been about winning, it was simply about having actually a good race and getting on the podium, that was the stress I put on myself today."

Marquez said instantly after the race in parc ferme that he found it challenging to focus in the race as he maintained considering the difficult times he'd endured with the injury.
